For a guy that was hell bent on playing in Brooklyn. Dwight Howard is sure soaking up this Los Angeles thing. He already laid down some Cali roots by purchasing a $20 million mansion in Newport Beach and a sweet California style Bentley to go along with it. So what’s next that indicates he Loves LA? How about some art that already proclaims Howard as one of the best centers to ever play for the Lakers on his Facebook page.
Like the jerseys of George Mikan, Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul Jabbar and Shaquille O’Neal hanging behind him in this piece illustrated by Robert Carter. It seems as if Howard intended to stick around long enough to one day have his number 12 hanging in the Staples Center rafters too. If I’m wrong, this is still a cool piece of art — even in Brooklyn.
