Homer News: Cleveland Cavaliers (47-14)

Hooped Up | March 2, 2010

Cleveland Cavaliers deliver a thorough throttling of the ‘wait ’til next year’ Knicks, 124-93
Ultimately salary cap space doesn’t show up in the box score. That’s a lesson that the Knicks have been swallowing just about every night for the last two years and they took it again Monday night one more time from a team they would dearly love to plunder. Looking like a collection of guys playing out the string of their contracts, the New York Knicks were throttled by the Cavs, 124-93.

It was a three-game season series sweep for the Cavs (47-14), who collected their fourth straight win and eighth in row against the Knicks (20-39) dating back two seasons.

Mo Williams Out Against Lakers

Hooped Up | January 21, 2010

The Lakers may have gotten a big break before they were scheduled to play the Cavaliers tonight at Quicken Loans Arena when Cleveland announced that guard Mo Williams won’t play because of a sprained left shoulder suffered Tuesday night against the Toronto Raptors.

Williams presented the Lakers with big problems during the Christmas Day game at Staples Center that Cleveland won.

Williams led the Cavaliers in scoring with 28 points.

Hyperizers – Don’t Criticize

Hooped Up | August 7, 2009

If you can see this, then you might need a Flash Player upgrade or you need to install Flash Player if it's missing. Get Flash Player from Adobe.

Together Andre Iguodala a.k.a Chief Blocka, Mo Williams a.k.a Fog Raw, Kevin Durant a.k.a Velvet Hoop and Rashard Lewis aka Ice-O are the Hyperizers and they just dropped a new single off their Midnight Drive album called  ”Don’t Criticize (Hyperize)” on Footlocker Records.

Don’t worry, I’ve thoroughly checked out all the ingredients to this video with the league and it’s certified clean and Hella Fun!

Mo Can Rock The Hell Out Of A Jeri Curl

Hooped Up | July 23, 2009

Playoff foes, now Hyperize teammates Mo Williams and Rashard Lewis, along with a few other players such as Kevin Durant and Andre Iguodala are shooting what appears to be a kick @ss Nike commercial that includes, DJ Quick, rope chains, ATV’s, leather medallions and Jeri curls.

This commercial is gonna be viral good I’m guessing, unless one of the extras dunk on one of these guys and Nike scraps the whole production.

The Magic Are For Real

Hooped Up | May 25, 2009

The Orlando Magic have used their size to make life really difficult for the Cleveland Cavaliers and Mo Williams would definitely agree to that statement.

“Williams said the elbow he took to the face from Anthony Johnson was “most definitely” a cheap shot. Williams was injured in the first half when Johnson’s elbow hit the Cavs point guard under his left eye. Williams was assessed a foul on the play and Johnson was called for a flagrant foul.”

The Cavs want to win, but they don’t want to get hit. The physical play of the Orlando Magic has straight up taken the Cavaliers off their game and it’s made Clevland look human even at home. But the elbow that Mo Williams got upside the head was kinda uncalled for. If Williams needed any more motivation to up his game in the eastern finals, Anthony Johnson gave it to him Sunday.

LeBron James Baseball’s Silent Film Maker

Hooped Up | April 1, 2009

If you can see this, then you might need a Flash Player upgrade or you need to install Flash Player if it's missing. Get Flash Player from Adobe.

After this news, the Cleveland Browns could definitely use another wide receiver, pronto and LeBron James has already proven he could fill that void. Dream sequence or no dream sequence. But now LeBron James has added another skill to his athletic resume, 1920’s silent film maker.

Okay, maybe it’s not athletic but as you can see from the video above, King James handles an imaginary Rolleiflex camera with mad skill. Read More »

Mo Williams, Interviews Mo Williams

Hooped Up | February 12, 2009

If you can see this, then you might need a Flash Player upgrade or you need to install Flash Player if it's missing. Get Flash Player from Adobe.

Finally, a sports network for those with Multiple Personality Disorder!  Listen to all-star Mo Williams — ask all-star Mo Williams — questions all-star Mo Williams —  has never answered himself before. It’s a very symbiotic relationship indeed!

But interviewing yourself has many perks! Like no scheduling conflicts, exclusives on yourself and this awkwardness below will never happen to you as an interviewer . Unless you stop showering and decide to grow a birds nest beard.

Epic awkwardness of a “traditional” interview after the jump.

Bosh Out And Mo Williams In For All-Star Sunday

Hooped Up | February 10, 2009

All-Star weekend will now have zero Cancon, because CB4 has decided to sit out the festivities in Phoenix this weekend, due to his right knee injury. Thus far, four-time all-star Chris Bosh has missed two games due to his knee injury suffered last Wednesday against the visiting Los Angeles Lakers.

“Tests conducted at Toronto’s Mount Sinai Hospital showed no structural damage, but Bosh has missed the Raptors’ last two games, and will sit out two more games on Tuesday and Wednesday.”

Mo Williams has already been named the replacement for Bosh, making this his first all-star appearance as a pro. Currently, Williams is averaging 17.1 points, 4.2 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 34.2 minutes in 49 starts for the Cleveland Cavaliers this season.

Freshly Dipped: LBJsayBigMO>Jameer

Hooped Up | February 2, 2009

I already had my say about who was snubbed from this years All-Star game with this list, but LeBron James believes that Mo Williams should have been an All-Star too,  so instead of creating a list LeBron James and Nike made a shoe to protest. Dubbed the LBJsayBigMO>Jameer, James plans on wearing this sneaker to the All-Star game and not get passes from Jameer Nelson.

Here’s what LeBron had to say about the snubbage. Read More »
