Well, well, well. If it isn’t the old New York Knicks and top free agent showing mutual interest in each other story again. This time, the Knicks just might have the catch of free agency as discussions continue between the Knicks and the Suns on a sign-and-trade deal for Steve Nash. Maybe.
If the Knicks and Suns can come to terms on a deal, Nash would receive a three-year contract in the $25 million range while Phoenix would receive Shumpert and a handful of cap-friendly contracts such as Toney Douglas, Josh Harrellson and Jerome Jordan.
