Pain is being a New York Mets fan with the Yankees a borough away, but like my mom always says “tough times don’t last, tough people do”. But she never had to compete with the Yankee pinstripes and the Steinbrenner bucks.
So until the Mets win something, Queens native Ron Artest is willing to lend his smooth vocalization alongside the MetropoliTONS of FUN about the team people in Queens love that can’t stop losing stuff. Maybe this jam will take the sting off of that epic 2007 collapse — no??? Oops, well I’m sorry for bringing that up again.
