Turkoglu Gives Raptors Another Mud Dragging

/

No more free Drake albums, CN Tower tours or Pizza Pizza for Hedo Turkoglu. You would think that the dissing of a franchise would be over with a players trade demand met, but not with Turkoglu who sorta played in Toronto, but really partied and ate a lot of pizza in the big smoke. In a recent interview via phone from Turkey, here’s what he had to say about the place that gave the world MuchMusic.

“People have to realize something is wrong with that organization and nobody wants to go there any more,” It’s not just the players who see this.” Turkoglu’s remarks were sparked by Raptors’ GM Bryan Colangelo’s recent criticism of former Raptors teammate Chris Bosh. Colangelo accused Bosh of “checking out” late last season while the Raptors were battling the Chicago Bulls for the final Eastern Conference playoff spot. … “Chris has been a franchise player and he did a lot of good things for the Raptors,” Turkoglu added. “I don’t think Chris is the type of player to quit on his teammates.”

Turks saying something wrong in T-Dot seems weird since he’s now in Phoenix and the Raptors don’t have to pay him for under performing. Maybe what he meant to say that there was something wrong in Toronto because he was the biggest problem they had all year. In the end, I’ll always blame the intravenous drip of Pizza Pizza he probably had in his arm on days off for his drop in production — that and ball — definitely a little bit of ball’s fault too.
