No, Seriously? For reasons that are beyond my bank account, a judge has decided that Gilbert Arenas will spend 30 days in a halfway house on gun charges stemming from locker-room gate with teammate Javaris Crittenton according to ESPN.
Prosecutors wanted Arenas to serve three months in jail, while his defense team argued Arenas should not do any jail time because his actions were just a “misguided prank” on teammate Javaris Crittenton. Which makes Arenas sound like a 6-year old, flushing things down the toilet for fun because he didn’t know better.
Arenas pleaded guilty to violating Washington D.C.’s gun laws after a game of cards with Crittenton went overboard and lead Arenas to bring tonz o’ gunz to the Wizards’ locker room and set them in front of Crittenton’s locker with a sign telling him to “PICK 1.” Uhhhh, that was the punchline.
The only “misguided prank” here was the judge’s ruling, now that was funny!
