Gilbert Arenas From Half Court

Gilbert Arenas from half court because with a healthy knee he can and when anybody plays the New Jersey Nets everything goes in.

Oh My Damn!!! I already knew Shannon Brown had hops and both Mikki Moore and I were reminded of this fact during preseason. But this put back dunk Brown made off of a Kobe Bryant missed shot, was ridiculous! I have never seen a ball bounce this high in the aftermath of a dunk ever.
See another angle of this crazy dunk after the jump.
This is one of the best Michael Jackson tributes and halftime performances in any sport I have ever seen!
Last night when the Wizards came to Atlanta, Hawk fans really got their moneys worth when the A-Town Dancers and Harry the Hawk paid tribute to Michael Jackson’s Thriller during halftime. Atlanta definitely gets full marks for putting together such an awesome production!
Happy Halloween!
It took all of 2 games for the worst case scenario of the Vince Carter trade to Orlando happening, and it came in the second quarter of his return to New Jersey.
Carter left in the second quarter with a sprained ankle, but he played an early role in dealing the Nets their second consecutive loss, a 95-85 defeat in their home debut.
Carter said he was hopeful that the injury would not force him to miss a game. “I’m just going to be smart about it,” he said. “It’s a long season and I’m already feeling better than I did before.”
Vince couldn’t be making me regret this decision already – could he?
On Twitter, Membership Has It’s Priveleges and Stephanie Fisher and her son Lawrence Shaw found that out the sweet free swag way. For reaching one million followers on Twitter who was Stephanie Fisher, Dwight Howard gave her an all expenses paid trip for two to the Orlando Magic’s home opener versus the Philadelphia 76ers.
How freakin’ cool is that!
Converse has been doing big things and Elton Brand hopes to follow that “doing it big” trend in ‘09-10. Finally healthy after a few rough years, Brand is back suited and booted in his new signature model from Converse the EB2.
Made from durable leathers, these bad boys come in three different colorways with speed laces a light weight midsole and an outsole that has multi directional circle bone traction, forefoot flex groove and a decoupling heel for optimal ground contact when landing.
Check’em out after the jump.
The Raptors weren’t the only local entity celebrating a big win Wednesday night.
The Score, which televised the season opener, announced today that it drew a record audience of 420,000 during its broadcast, with a peak audience of 741,000 during the final half-hour.
It was the highest regular-season Raptors audience across any Canadian network within the past decade.
The previous high had been an audience of 238,000.
Stan Van Jeremy Gundy was absolutely not impressed with his introduction before the Orlando Magic home opener. The scary thing is that this is his happy face.
It’s guys like Tyrus Thomas that make me wish the NBA season was 164 games long. Richard Jefferson had no chance on this play and Tyrus Thomas had a look on his face that said “this is going to happen RJ” and it so did.
Gilbert Arenas has been hurt the past two seasons and blah, blah, blah. After Agent Zero played his first game of the season, everything was reset back to zero and it was apparent that a new version of the old Hibachi was back. At this point looking how hard he trained with Tim Grover, the Most Improved Player award is his to lose.
Welcome back Gil!
