As I sort through my vast .mp3 collection today,  I decided to see if there was any news regarding Marbury and I quickly realized that, Marbury out of the news is kinda like me not having every J Dilla, Nas or Roni Size song ever made… ain’t happening! This time Marbury calls D’Antoni a liar and says that the marriage is over.

I’m thinking $20 million should do for Marburys alimony.

Practice and Allen Iverson mix like Blood and Water or Politics and Common Sense, but given his history of playing through injury if anybody gets a pass for skipping practice it’s A.I.However, next time Iverson should at least call in with @ss Glacoma, if he can’t see his @ss going to work.

The standout guard was the only player who didn’t show up when the Pistons worked out Thursday.

“First of all, I have no excuses,” Iverson said after Detroit’s shootaround for its game against the Milwaukee Bucks. “It was a personal matter, but I just handled it the wrong way. I didn’t call and let them know what was going on.”

Like a bad high school kid that ends up in the principles office weekly, Marbury is again waiting with the secretary and is news everywhere…again. This time the Knicks have put their foot down and are suspended him from the team and have fined him $400, 000; according to ESPN for refusing to enter two games.

There has been no word as to who will be bring Marbury his homework while he is away from the team.  But my guess by the way things are going, is Jamel Thomas.

Yesterday, Andrei Kirilenko and his wife Masha sat down with Chris Mannix of SI, and discussed Sloan, being a sixth man and not being Doug and Jackie Christie. She’s hot, allows Andrei to sleep with a different girl once a year, and supports her man like a mutha! Andrei must be the happiest man with one wife in Utah!

“Kirilenko’s wife, Masha, though, has her own opinions. A singer (the video for her 2002 hit single, Saharniy — which translates loosely to sugary — quickly rocketed to No. 1 on MTV Russia) with brains (she holds an undergrad degree in foreign languages and a masters in art) and ambition (in addition to running her husband’s charitable foundation, she recently opened her own clothing boutique), Masha rarely misses a home game. When Andrei is on the bench, she’ll mouth — in Russian — anything from I love you to postgame dinner plans. When Andrei is in the game, he’ll often turn to her and shout in Russian after a significant play. They’re not quite ready to replace Doug and Jackie Christie as the NBA’s first couple of idiosyncratic communications, but Masha is, safe to say, a full partner in Andrei’s career.”

Amaré Stoudemire might have not shared in the spotlight of the USA Olympic Redeem team this summer, but his summer was definitely life changing for himself and others. This summer  with his Each 1, Teach 1 Foundation,  Stoudemire journeyed to Sierra Leone to fund and aid in the building of water wells to provide fresh and clean water to several impoverished villages throughout the country.

He also met with the President of Sierra Leone to discuss building an eco-friendly Academy, using local resources and materials to provide kids with education and recreational activities.

“This is a trip that I had been looking forward to taking my whole life,” he said of the experience. “We had already begun to help the communities in Sierra Leone, and it was great to see the efforts in person. One water well built provides water for 450 people, so as you can see, the impact is huge.”

It doesn’t look like Weezy will be attending any Greg Oden events in the future, but him and Bill Simmons probably don’t really care.

The rapper, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., blogs for ESPN The Magazine’s Web site. In a recent post he wrote: “Greg Oden is a bust. He’s gotta show me something, man. I don’t get it. At what point in time was he dominant? I’ve never seen it. You’ve never seen it. Maybe NBA officials know something we don’t. That’s all I can figure. Maybe somebody on that staff has seen something we haven’t. But until he shows me something, I’m gonna declare him a bust. Damn shame, too.”

Former NBA player Rawle Marshall made a name for himself in the worst way possible earlier this week overseas. What’s up with playing for the Pacers and being violent anyway???

Rawle Marshall got suspended for 3 months from the games of the Adriatic League for his excessive violent behaviour against Sinisa Stemberger (above). This means that Cibona will not have Marshall playing for them during the games of the Adriatic League but he can play in the games of the Euroleague as per normal. Cibona does not participate in the Croatian League currently but they will join in at a later stage.
