Kobe Bryant gave fans in attendance for his last game in Washington DC, the full Kobe Experience. Scoring a season-high 31 points with a variety of classic Mamba moves to secure victory for the Lakers over the Wizards.
“I think he’s going to have a whole lot more like this before it’s all said and done,” Scott said. “That’s how I feel.”
But, of course, Bryant said he didn’t need such a performance to know he was capable of achieving it, no matter how poorly he had been playing.
“Maybe writers like you [needed it], maybe,” Bryant said with a smile. “But personally, I just do my best, man. I just go out there and work. I don’t necessarily need it for a confidence perspective.”
Next stop on the Kobe farewell tour, Atlanta.
