When Michael Jordan was asked what how he felt about Kobe Bryant passing him for third on the all-time scoring list. He had one simple message for the Black Mamba according to the Chicago Sun-Times:
Go get Karl [Malone],” he said of former Jazz great Karl Malone, who ranks second all-time with 36,928 points.
Currently at 32375 career points and counting. It’s gonna be tough for Bryant to catch Malone and it’s maybe impossible for him to catch the points leader Kareem Abdul-Jabbar sitting on 38,387 points. Just don’t rule it out either. Art by Karmo Ruusmaa.
