Former Houston Rockets teammate Patrick Beverley had some great things to say about current LA Lakers point guard Jeremy Lin ahead of tonight’s season opener.
“J-Lin’s is a person I learned under when he was here,” Beverley said. “He taught me offense, where to get my shots. J-Lin was a person I was honored to have as a teammate, that I looked up to while he was here. We’re definitely going to have fun playing against each other. I’m happy for him. I’m sad things happened to Steve Nash, of course, but at the same time, I’m happy for Jeremy.”
Lin and Beverly play together in Houston for two seasons.
