The worst kept secret in the the league is now official, kinda. Per Adrian Wojnarowski, the Timberwolves have agreed in principle to ship Kevin Love east to the Cleveland Cavaliers who will then sign a long-term extension to stay. In exchange, Minnesota will receive Andrew Wiggins, Anthony Bennett and a protected first round pick.
Due to NBA contract rules, the proposed exchange cannot be made official until the recent rookie deal Wiggins signed with the Cavs exceeds 30 days which will occur on August 23.
