As a salute to the Captain, adidas is dropping the adidas Jabbar Hi ‘The Blueprint’ crafted out of actual Tyvek® blueprint paper which includes white contrast stitching, laces, and printed graphics.
As a nice touch to bridge the old with the new. Each member of the current adidas basketball family has their name printed on the right footbed and the one word each of them would use to describe Abbul-Jabbar is printed on the left footbed.
Look for these to drop February 14, 2014 during All Star Weekend and to be available at adidas Originals retail stores and adidas.com for $100 USD.
