In 1987 iconic painter Ernie Barnes created “Fastbreak,” a commissioned painting of the World Champion Los Angeles Lakers that included Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, James Worthy, Kurt Rambis and Michael Cooper. Today it is still one of the most famous basketball paintings of all-time.
