Best prison based basketball tournament EVER! While you were sleeping in last weekend, the winner of the Red Bull King of the Rock one-on-one tournament, was crowned and send home early for good ballers behavior — with cash.
Hosted by Rajon Rondo and held in The Yard on Alcatraz (hardcore), this marked the first time that an official sporting event was ever held on Alcatraz, and the first time basketball has been played on the rock since the last inmates left the island over 50 years ago.
After some intense ball, Isaiah “Clutch” Bowman from Los Angeles took the first place prize of $10,000 and those that bet against him — lost their cigarettes. No one was shanked during this epic event, good times!
