Not to diss that Macaroni Man you made for your pops, but Barack Obama is getting a pretty sweet Father’s Day gift courtesy of Tim Leiweke that trumps your edible art.
According to TMZ, when Sasha and Malia Obama attended Game 6, they really wanted to get their dad a Lakers jersey for Father Day. So, AEG president Tim Leiweke — whose suite they happened to be sitting in — ran down to the Lakers team shop and bought an authentic Lakers jersey complete with a custom “Obama” name on the back. Then he had Phil Jackson autograph the jersey after the Lakers win.
But hey, don’t make that discourage you from presenting your Macaroni man to your dad on Sunday though.
