During the off-season, 1800 Tequila joined forces with the Los Angeles Lakers in a multi-million dollar deal that includes ad placement at the Staples Center in L.A. and various promotions.
I guess since that time, their booze has been flying off the shelves (insert Ron Artest jokes here) because to celebrate their smooth tasting sponsorship union with the Lakers.
A special edition bottle of 1800 Tequila Silver has been created in limited quantities in Lakers gold and purple that comes with a championship ring — okay fine, that last part I just made up.
These bottles of agave goodness hit L.A. liquor stores this week and will retail for the ironic sum of $24.99. Drink up.
