The test revealed Redd suffered a strained left patella tendon in Saturday night’s game against Detroit. But the injury has nothing to do with the torn ligaments he suffered in the same knee last season. Redd is expected to miss at least two weeks and be re-evaluated at that time.
The veteran Bucks shooting guard suffered the injury when he went up for a dunk early in the third quarter of Milwaukee’s 96-85 victory over the Pistons.
“It’s not severe,” Redd said. “Good news. I just aggravated an old knee injury I had couple years ago. I’m going to Chicago today to check it out with my doctor, but the MRI showed up pretty positive.
