In front of his home crowd Pelicans forward Anthony Davis caught fire. Erupting for an all-star game record 52 points on 26 of 39 shooting on route to being named 2017 All-Star MVP.
“I wanted to get the MVP for this crowd and for this city. Those guys did a great job of finding me and getting me the basketball. They wanted me to score 50…those guys did a great job of allowing me to do this. This one definitely meant a lot to me.”
