The last battle between former MVP Kobe Bryant and reigning Most Valuable Player Stephen Curry wasn’t the individual contest we expected. Kobe finished with just 12 points fighting through a sore shoulder and league leading scorer Steph only had 18 points as the Warriors lost for just the 6th time this season.
“I think the improvement and the importance of this game is not necessarily in the win,” Bryant said. “But it’s in the fact that we executed the game plan very well. We paid attention to detail very well. For young guys, I think it’s extremely important to see the results of that.
