The Timberwolves surprised a group of foster kids in Minnesota with a $500 shopping spree at Target to make their holiday a little brighter. Rookie of the Year Andrew Wiggins, first overall pick Karl-Anthony Towns, veteran Ricky Rubio and rookie Tyus Jones all took part in the event.
“It’s amazing to mostly just give these kids some family time,” Timberwolves rookie Karl-Anthony Towns said. “Family time that they don’t, a lot of times, have.”
