League MVP Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors are heading back to the Western Conference Finals for the first time since 1976, after closing out Memphis on the road in a blowout.
“It was just about elevating our play and our intensity to where it needed to be to win playoff games,” Warriors point guard Stephen Curry said. “They hit us in the mouth two games in a row, and it was frustrating to try to figure it out. Once we did in Game 4, we never looked back.”
Curry finished with 32 points, 10 assists and a crazy shot from 62 feet away. The Warriors will now wait to face either Houston or Los Angeles in the conference finals.
