For the first time in franchise history, Atlanta has advanced to the Eastern Conference finals. In a very close Game 6 the Hawks eked out a 94-91 win to end Washington’s season, powered by team work (as per usual) and a playoff career-high 25 points from energetic forward DeMarre Carroll. Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals between the Hawks and Cavs will begin Wednesday in Atlanta.
