The first of many more Andrew Wiggins commercials to come recently dropped with BioSteel Sports leading the way. Filmed on the elementary school/neighbourhood court Wiggins played on as a youth with some local youngsters. Wiggins’ old court still holds a very special place in his heart. Per the Toronto Star:
“It means a lot . . . coming back to my old stomping grounds. This is where it all started,” said Wiggins, who was visiting Glen Shields as part of a promotional shoot for Biosteel, a sports drink and nutritional supplement manufacturer he just signed an endorsement deal with. “Growing up here as a little kid, I was out here every day after school. I would come here before school and play basketball here with my friends. From Grade 2 to 8-9, I was always here everyday after school playing basketball. When I come here, I just really forget everything. When I was playing basketball with the kids, I forgot it was a shoot. I was just having fun with the kids playing basketball, because it brought back all these memories.”
