Created especially for Michael Jordan by his two sons and daughter in collaboration with Jordan Brand designers to celebrate this upcoming Father’s Day.
The Air Jordan 1 ‘Family Forever’ is characterized by important Jordan family moments. The all-denim upper represents Jordan being “just a regular jean guy.” Carolina blue outsoles are a nod to MJ’s Tar Heel days and the multi-colored eyelets and laces represents each of his children’s favorite color. To further personalize the shoe, inside the tongue is the quote “If you accept the expectations of others, especially the negative ones, then you will never change the outcome” which was coined by Jordan.
