While recovering from his torn achilles, Kobe Bryant took up playing piano as a hobby to relax his nerves and several months later in true Black Mamba style. He decided it was time to up the ante and had a custom piano made which he showed off on Twitter today with the caption.
“My collection of masterpieces just hit a crescendo of domination #madebykobe “
This is a major investment for Bryant because pianos this size and with such beautiful decoration can cost upwards of $50,000+. This just shows how much time he has put into playing piano since he’s been off injured. Those who want to incorporate piano sounds into their music production and who aren’t keen on the idea of paying a $50,000 premium could look at getting some great software like the VSTs showcased on the Amidio website.
Musicians take great pride in their instruments and they often keep a close eye on every part of the manufacturing process. They get them cleaned and tuned regularly to keep them sounding their best. If the piano has to be moved for whatever reason then they get professional piano transport in Malaysia to ensure nothing is damaged in the move.
Kobe maybe isn’t the as serious as most pianists but he will still want to look after his piano after spending so much money on it.
Between the piano and “Vino” wine venture I’m sure he’ll pursue sometime down the line (especially with brilliant concept ideas like this one). It won’t be long before the Kobe brand ends up becoming the first luxury athletic brand. Start saving to buy some of his stuff.
