The first official pictures of the black “Hollywood Nights” uniforms the Lakers will be wearing during select games this season dropped and they look Mamba-rrific.
According to Lakers executive Jeanne Buss, fans in LA have demanded black alternate jerseys for a long time and they have been working hard to make the dark uniforms a reality for years. The new look serves as a thank you to supporters of the historic championship franchise who wanted the change and as a salute to the huge number of people who work behind the scenes to make up one of L.A.’s biggest industries.
