You’ll have to forgive Kobe Bryant for being a BAWSE with friends that own entire planets, but he has no idea about what Jeremy Lin has been doing with the Knicks over the past three NYC wins with averages of 25.3 points and 8.3 assists heading into tonight’s game at MSG.
“I know who he is, but I don’t really know what’s going on too much with him,” said Bryant of the Chinese-American sensation. “I don’t even know what he’s done. Like, I have no idea what you guys are talking about. I’ll take a look at it tonight though.”
Some might say Kobe’s being coy with those comments, but I think he legit has no idea about Linsanity, Linning or the merchandise that goes along with it. I mean, Black Mamba worrying about another player in the league is like Usain Bolt worrying about all the people who can’t beat him in a race. It just doesn’t happen at that BAWSE level. Although maybe after tonight even Kobe will catch a slight case of Lin-mania, but I doubt it.
