If you don’t know who Tinker Hatfield is or what the Innovation Kitchen is, you really better ask somebody. Actually, thanks to this post you won’t have to cause that’s just the type of friend I am.
Tinker Hatfield designed some of the most popular Nike shoes you probably own such as the Air Jordan III through Air Jordan XV, Air Jordan XX, Air Jordan XXIII, the Air Jordan 2010 (XXV) and the world’s first “cross training” shoe the Nike Air Trainer. The place where he created all these sneaker masterpieces, was the “Innovation Kitchen”.
As a salute to the man, myth and footwear legend. Sole Fly in South Miami created only 24 of the tees you see above that were also signed by Tinker Hatfield himself. Too bad, you’ll probably never have one of them.
