C’mon! According to TMZ, Leicester Bryce Stovell filed the lawsuit against LeBron James and his mother Gloria, claiming fraud and defamation. Oh yeah, this dude also says he’s LeBron’s dad.
LeBron’s legal team scoffed at the claims and have asked that the suit be dismissed labeling it “rank speculation.” Attorney’s for LeBron also said:
“…a man who claims that as a 29-year-old lawyer he got a 15-year-old girl pregnant during a one-night stand and who never contributed a penny in child support would earn millions in commercial endorsements by crawling out of the woodwork after the child he never gave a thought to became an NBA star.”
I didn’t go to deadbeat dad’s University, but that sounds pretty accurate to me. Plus, documents also note the results of a DNA test that show “0 percent probability of paternity.” If this was an episode of CSI: Miami, Horatio Caine would have taken off his sunglasses and threatened his guy by now. What a clown.
Let this be a lesson to all you deadbeat dad’s out there, if you abandon your child. It could be a $110 million dollar mistake. Think about it.
