Not all the players that left Cleveland for Miami did it in questionable taste. Although Zydrunas Ilgauskas joined forces with LeBron James in Cleveland to chase a ring with the King in South Beach. Ilgauskas used a classier method to thank the people of Cleveland for supporting him for his entire career in the league.
In an ad published in Cleveland’s most circulated newspaper, the Plain Dealer. Ilgauskas thanked the fans and city for their support without the aid of comic-sans and said Cleveland will always be his home. Ilgauskas also asked for understanding as he chases his dream of a ring.
It’s a toss up if this makes LeBron James seem worse, or Zydrunas Ilgauskas seem that much better. What — yup, LeBron James seems worse.
