This weekend in Toronto the biggest annual Caribbean carnival held outside of the Caribbean is going down and if you didn’t know, it’s called Caribana.
Annually, Caribana draws hundreds of thousands of tourists from around the globe and it is billed as North America’s largest street festival, however leading up to parade and after it, it’s all about the parties.
Every year, usually a NBA player hosts a big party to join in the fun and this year Drew Gooden is the NBA player of note jam hosting, but it’s gonna cost you to ask him in person about his rat-tail and Pirates of the Caribbean goatee of the past and Shakira probably won’t be there.
After some research, I found out that to rub elbows with Gooden it’s gonna cost you between $30 – $50 for a ticket, and if you fancy bottle service for you and your fake entourage buddies, it’ll cost you between $450 – $599. Damn, at those prices it’s like Drew Gooden thinks we all signed five-year deals worth $32 million this summer too.
