It looks like Danny Ainge will increase the average age of the Celtics roster by adding veteran Michael Finley to the mix who will by the way turn 37 this weekend.
Finley was bought out of his contract by San Antonio and cleared waivers Wednesday night. The deal with the Celtics should be finalized in the next day or two but a source said there are no obstacles remaining.“He’s definitely going to be a Celtic,†said the source.
Finley will pocket a cool pro-rated $300,000 to join the C’s for the remainder of the season.
