Joe Smith aka Joe Beast dropped a free mixtape labelled “The Beginning” and given the past reputation of NBA ballers trying to rap, ( Kobe Bryant featuring Tyra Banks)  Joe Beast ain’t all that bad in comparison surprisingly enough. I skipped through a few of the tracks on his MySpace page and it hasn’t offended my ears yet. He ain’t Rakim, but at least he ain’t Jason Kidd, Gary Payton, Brian Shaw or anybody else from the B-Balls Best Kept Secret album for that matter either.
