Since Rajon Rondo went down with a bum ankle, The Marbury experiment in Boston has been accelerated. This has gotta be way better than watching the Lakers courtside for Starbury.
“He is in a good place, it’s not like he has to watch from the sidelines,” Ray Allen said of Marbury on Tuesday. “When you get thrown into the fire you have to adjust a little quicker when you’re out there. He’s learning on the fly. But what’s better to ask for than to be out there? I think he’s in a good situation.” […]
“I’ve never been in this situation before, it’s totally different,” Marbury said. “I came in shape, but not in basketball shape. It’s like a race — everyone has been running already and I’ve just started the race, and I’m trying to get back in it. Once my game comes around I’ll be way more at ease and my instincts will take over.”
Maybe being banished by the Knicks wasn’t such a bad thing after all.
