Williams being out of the Jazz line up is terrible news for the Utah in the deep west where every games counts and even worse news for fantasy owners hoping for a good start to the season. Â
“The Jazz now say point guard Deron Williams will be out at least two weeks because of the sprained left ankle he sustained in Saturday night’s preseason game at Chicago. That means he’s likely to miss the team’s Oct. 29 regular-season opener vs. Denver, plus possibly one or two more games – including a pair against the Elton Brand-less Los Angeles Clippers, who have an injured point guard of their own in Baron Davis.”
