Sam Mitchell gets TNT’s vote as the NBA’s coach of the year.TNT’s panel of NBA analysts announced their picks for the 2006-07 league awards Monday, and
four of the six TNT analysts — Charles Barkley, Doug Collins, Reggie Miller and John Thompson — picked Mitchell to win the Red Auerbach trophy as the league’s top coach.
Steve Kerr picked Jerry Sloan of the Utah Jazz, while Kenny Smith went with Dallas Mavericks coach Avery Johnson.
