You already new Kevin Durant’s second signature shoe, the Zoom KD II hit the streets with big buzz after the entire OKC Thunder team wore the KD II “Creamsicle”, but now Nike Basketball designer Leo Chang describes the shoe – inside and out – and previews some of the other colors of the shoes that will be in stores soon. When Leo Chang talks shoes, consider shoes knowledge dropped.

A detailed look of the new KDII colorways coming soon below.

Homer News: Oklahoma City Thunder (38-24)

Hooped Up | March 8, 2010

Russell Westbrook takes out Kings
When Russell Westbrook drove coast-to-coast to convert a lefty layup and draw a foul on Sacramento center Spencer Hawes with 8:33 left to play, the Thunder point guard stared into the stands at Arco Arena and pounded his chest. And, really, by that point, he had every right to.

The play symbolized how Westbrook sliced through Sacramento on Sunday, carving up the Kings in the second half to lead the Thunder to a 108-102 win before an announced crowd of 12,081.

Westbrook overcame an ugly cut over his right eye in the third quarter when Kings forward Carl Landry raked him across the face with 9:58 remaining in the period. Westbrook was taken to the locker room and received six stitches to stop the profuse bleeding. He returned with 50.7 seconds left in the frame and played the rest of the way.

Swat: Kevin Durant One Shoe, Zero Basket

Hooped Up | January 30, 2010

If watching Kevin Durant block Arron Afflalo with only one shoe on, still doesn’t turn your crank because you’re demanding like my 10th grade teacher. Surely the dramatic music accompanying this Durant feat,  should send you over the top with NBA excitement.

KD is officially the best one sneaker defender in the league, you’ve been warned Ron-Ron.

The Eastern Conference reserves include Paul Pierce and Rajon Rondo from the Boston Celtics, Toronto’s Chris Bosh, Charlotte’s Gerald Wallace, Chicago’s Derrick Rose and Atlanta’s Joe Johnson and Al Horford.

The Western Conference reserves include Utah’s Deron Williams, New Orleans’ Chris Paul, Los Angeles Pau Gasol, Oklahoma City’s Kevin Durant, Dallas’ Dirk Nowitzki , Zach Randolph from Memphis and Brandon Roy from the Portland Trail Blazers.

David Lee, Carlos Boozer, Marc Gasol, Josh Smith, Chris Kaman, Monta Ellis and Chauncey Bilups will all have to wait for next season.

Served: Shake N’ Bake Gets Got By Kevin Durant

Hooped Up | November 30, 2009

If you can see this, then you might need a Flash Player upgrade or you need to install Flash Player if it's missing. Get Flash Player from Adobe.

Everytime I flex my NBA League Pass (get your mind out of the gutter), I end up watching the Oklahoma City Thunder if they’re playing at some point in the night because of Kevin Durant and his young band of upstarts. Eventually OKC ended up taking an L against the Houston Rockets (100-91) last night, but not before Durant got his shake n’ bake on and finished at the rim hard with a flush.

How’d that taste Trevor Ariza and Carl Landry?

Durant, Green And Harden Will Transform Ya

Hooped Up | November 24, 2009

Back for more video fun, Jeff Green (@JEFF_GREEN22), Kevin Durant (@KEVINDURANT35), and rookie James Harden (@JHARD13) were back in the fake studio to have some real fun. This time lip syncing Transform Ya by Chris “you wouldn’t like me when I’m mad” Brown.

All of a sudden, OKC doesn’t seem like a boring place to play in if you ask me.

The OKC Trio That’ll Make You Say Ahh

Hooped Up | November 11, 2009

I have no idea how I missed this gem, but Kevin Durant (@kevindurant35), Jeff Green (@jeff_green22), and rookie James Harden seem to be getting along so good in Oklahoma City, that they’ve released a music video together. Okay, maybe its just them on a webcam lip syncing “Say Ahh” by Trey Songz, but since they have their own graphics ‘n’ sh!t, it’s practically their song too.

Anticipation For The 2010 NBA Season

Hooped Up | October 22, 2009

If you can see this, then you might need a Flash Player upgrade or you need to install Flash Player if it's missing. Get Flash Player from Adobe.

The 2010 Season can’t start fast enough and the anticipation is in the air and hidden throughout this NBA ad. Thing of this advertisement as a Where’s Waldo type exercise and see if you can find “Anticipation” in each shot.
