Yes the Knicks lost another game to the Pacers by getting dominated by Indiana’s frontcourt, but on the bright side of things. Amare Stoudemire returned to action for the first time in months with a decent showing. If he can give New York a productive 10-15 minutes a game by rebounding, defending and mixing things up inside. Co-existing with Carmelo Anthony should be easy. I think.
This basketball season has been a rough one for Amare Stoudemire, but off the court things are great. In the summer he proposed to his longtime girlfriend in Paris, then he got married on 12/12/12 and now he and wife Alexis will be expecting a new edition to their family.
“We’re both huge on having a nice size family. It was something we’ve been talking about for a while. It happened naturally and at the right time so it all worked out. It was just perfect timing,” adds Alexis, 29, who says she’s had some morning sickness but overall, “can’t complain!”
Somethings in life are just bigger than basketball. Congratulations to the Stoudemire’s!
“I almost shed a tear when I walked out on the court with the standing ovation,” Stoudemire said. “It was a phenomenal feeling. I haven’t felt nothing quite like that before in my career.”
In 17 minutes off the bench in his return, Stoudemire tallied six points, one block and one rebound. STAT has been out of the Knicks lineup since October due to knee surgery. Welcome back STAT!
Due to the devastation Hurricane Sandy has caused in New York City. The MTA will waive all train and bus fares Thursday and Friday. Judging by this picture of Amare Stoudemires Range Rover submerged in water. Hell probably have to use it. Then again, since hes richer than an astronaut. Maybe hell just buy an amphibious Range Rover tomorrow instead.
