Dirk Nowitzki turned in a vintage performance against the rival (I’m looking at you DJ) Clippers, scoring 31 points with a barrage of jumpers like old times. The former MVP hit 11-of-14 shots and was 5-of-6 from downtown.
“I don’t want to get too excited,” Nowitzki said. “I had a great month of November last year and then everything kind of went down the drain.”
