James Harden Makes His Case For MVP

James Harden made his case for a few extra first place votes in the MVP race. With a big performance of 33 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, and two blocks against LeBron James and the visiting Cavs, in a 103-105 Rockets win.

“There was a moment in the third quarter,” Rockets guard Jason Terry said, “where LeBron came down and hit a fadeaway jumper, James comes down and drives right down the middle of the lane and lays it up, and I’m sitting on the bench, thinking to myself, ‘I’m watching greatness.’

“It was one of those ‘ahh’ moments. For me, as a player, to understand what that meant at that time – that was big. I think James rose to the challenge, and there is no way to deny him that MVP trophy.”

Harden wanted to win so bad, he even kicked LeBron. Gotta respect the fight.
