Lee And Kidd Named Replacements For All-Star Game

Hooped Up | February 11, 2010

With the trade deadline fast approaching and every GM doing nothing but saber rattling on making moves thus far.  It’s been NBA commissioner David Stern that’s been doing all the front office shakin’ n bakin’ with regards to player movement — for the all-star game that is.

The Commish has been inserting replacements for the all-star game like an skilled general managing pro for the past two weeks and today after Kobe Bryant and Allen Iverson were announced shelved for this weekends festivities. David Lee and Jason Kidd were selected as replacements.

Lee is again having a strong campaign for the Knicks averaging 20 ppg, 11.4 rpg shooting 55.7% from the field. While cagey vet Jason Kidd has been averaging a respectable 9.3 ppg and 9.3 dimes per contest.

The NBA all-star game goes down February 14th, @ 8:00PM.
