Tonight when Kobe Bryant takes the floor in the house Michael Jordan built, he’ll be wearing a pair of his signature Nike Zoom Kobe IV shoes with real snakeskin on them. Monstrous!
Designed by a group of Chicago students from Claremont Academy Elementary School and Parkside Elementary Community Academy, the special Nike Zoom Kobe IV shoes were a project involving Nike and a program called After-School All-Stars. Using Nike’s interactive website as their design tool, these young savvy designers put together a sick version of “The Black Mamba’s” shoe with real snakeskin on the tips. How awesome is that!
Good on Nike for allowing a few kids to imagination big, maybe a few of them even found a future passion in the process too.
