Chris Paul suffered a broken right hand in the third quarter of Game 4 against the Blazers that will likely keep him out for the remainder of the playoffs. Hurting the Clippers chances of advancing deep into the playoffs for another year. More from the Clippers:
“I talked to him, and he’s clearly disappointed,” said Blake Griffin. “There’s nothing you can do. You try to tell a guy like that, ‘It’s OK, we got you and it’s going to be OK,’ but he’s a competitor. He wants to play. It’s not easy dealing with injuries, especially at this time of the year.”
Broken hands have been a thing all season long for the LA Clippers and Chris Paul was the latest to join the list. Austin Rivers and Blake Griffin also sustained broken hands this season.
