Blake Griffin was getting better until he got worse. While in Toronto to play the Raptors, Griffin and a Clippers staff member got into an altercation that fractured Griffin’s right hand and will likely cause him to miss weeks of action.
According to ESPN, the altercation happened at a restaurant. “Griffin hit the man, who then left the restaurant and went outside. Griffin followed him outside and hit him again. […] The equipment staffer’s face was injured and he was treated at a local hospital, sources told Eaves. Both Griffin and the equipment staffer were sent home after the incident.”
Griffin has been recovering from a quad injury and has been inactive since late December.
