Summoning the spirit of Jimmy Chitwood on Hoosiers night, Paul George had his finest game of the season posting 36 points and 12 boards to lead the Pacers over the visiting Heat on Friday night. However, his coach wasn’t surprised at all of his performance.
“Not really surprising to me. I’ve been watching him do this since midsummer,” Frank Vogel said. “He’s looked fully healthy and explosive and he works. He really, really works on his game.”
