Continuing his assault on the record books, LeBron James became the youngest to reach 25,000 career points, which he did on an alley-oop slam. Kobe Bryant previously held the record, accomplishing the feat at 31 years, 351 days.
“It just means I’ve played with a lot of great teammates, a lot of great coaches,” James said. “I’ve been around some great groups and I’ve been able to reap the benefits. It’s a cool thing. I’ve got more work to do but it’s pretty cool to see where you’re able to kind of stop and look at it.”
LeBron James finished the night with 22 points, nine rebounds and 11 assists in 33 minutes to help beat the Sixers.
How he scored his 24,999 point was pretty fun too.
