Reserve guard and son of the head coach Austin Rivers went off for 25 points to give the LA Clippers a 2-1 edge in their series against the Rockets. It was a feel good moment for everyone, including his dad Doc Rivers.
“You want him to do well,” Doc said. “I keep saying it. They’re all my sons. I really believe that. Lester [Hudson] or Matt [Barnes], it’s the same thing. I would have been proud because I see all of them do the work. Good for him [Austin].”
Game 4 goes down Sunday.
