Before the Golden State Warriors played Game two at Oracle Arena, MVP Stephen Curry was presented the Maurice Podoloff Trophy by NBA Commissioner Adam Silver. The moment was loud, surreal and kinda weird according to Steph.
“It was weird,” he said. “That’s the best way I can put it. You want to stay in the moment and focus on the task in the game. But the celebration, the change of routine to lead up to the game was just different. I don’t know if that was a huge reason we lost. We all felt we were ready to go. But it has been a long 48 hours,” he said. “A lot of words, a lot of pictures, a lot of celebrating the accomplishment. The rest over the next three days will be huge”
