Last night, Gregg Popovich finally won his 1,000th game as the San Antonio Spurs head coach.
“That’s the formula, getting the players is difficult, but I’ve been fortunate to have good ones. The time, that’s the most important element. You have to be around for a while I guess.”
Popovich has a career win percentage of 68% and only Phil Jackson at 70% has a higher win percentage.
